QualityNZ™ was born out of a determination to develop trade between two passionate and driven countries. New Zealand's ability to produce world class products, and India's growth towards becoming one of the largest economies in the world, is the foundation for this opportunity. Relationships between India and New Zealand stem back to the battle of Gallipoli during the First World War where soldiers from both countries stood side by side. New Zealand's greatest explorer, Sir Edmund Hillary, had a great love for India, and in more recent times it has been a passion for Cricket that has galvanised both countries.
While there are barriers to entering the Indian market, QualityNZ's determination to connect both countries has resulted in a unique sales, marketing, and distribution system that is second to none. Our range of premium food and beverage products demands a robust logistical plan, so we spent 18 months looking throughout India to ensure our high expectations were able to be met. To highlight further our commitment to this market, we have established a subsidiary company in Bangalore where Geoff Thin's (CEO/Director, India) international sales and marketing experience enables face to face business relationships to proposer. The Indian subsidiary entity also enables us to directly import goods from abroad and ensure our products remain within QualityNZ's quality control system.
With an enormous passion for Cricket, the Indian population are both skilled and educated on the subject. QualityNZ™ is delighted to have Sir Richard Hadlee as its Patron, and Stephen Fleming, Brendon McCullum, and Daniel Vettori (three of New Zealand’s most respected Captains) as ambassadors and shareholders in the business. Our cricket personalities will play a large role in the marketing and promotion of QualityNZ™ and its products. Stephen, Brendon, and Daniel have played leading roles in the Indian Premier League (IPL) competition with Stephen as coach of the Chennai Super Kings, Brendon as a player for the Kolkata Knight Riders & Chennai Super Kings franchises, and Daniel as a former player and now coach of the Royal Challengers Bangalore side. Sir Richard is an ICC hall of fame member, and is NZ's greatest ever cricketer. Geoff Allott (CEO/Director - Quality New Zealand Ltd) is also a past New Zealand player and administrator, and is a current board member of New Zealand cricket.
Stephen in recent years has also been involved with New Zealand Prime Minister, the RtHon Mr John Key, as part of his delegation to India to advance trade relations at a political level.
We're adamant that the future between New Zealand and India will be prosperous and we have a desire to play a leading role in developing trade relationships between the two countries. Our success will ultimately be gauged by the long standing relationships we develop and the respect that our partners and competitors have for us.
In the words of immortal Mahatma Gandhi..."A small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission can alter the course of history".
